dec 1, 1955 - Why not the wars in
Korea or Vietnam?
Description:
While the doctrine of the U.S and its allies (South Vietnam and South Korea, respectively) were particularly brutal; engaging in massacres of civilians and political dissidents, using chemical warfare such as napalm, flamethrowers and agent orange, and indiscriminate bombing campaigns that caused the near-total destruction of all of North Korea's villages, towns and cities, and on the other side gave Indochina the title of "The Most Bombed Place on Earth", leading to the deaths of millions of civilians in both conflicts; these acts do not constitute genocide, as the aims of the U.S and its puppet regimes were not the wholesale destruction of peoples but strategic, military and punitive in nature.
