aug 6, 1945 - Why not Hiroshima and Nagasaki?
Description:
While being unique, never before and never since seen atrocities and resulting in the death of 200,000 people and the wholesale destruction of two great Japanese cities, it does not fall under the category of genocide or ethnic cleansing, as there was no intent on behalf of the U.S. Army to wipe out any specific ethnic group, but rather its aims were military and punitive against the Japanese regime.
