Genocide Watch is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1999 by Gregory H. Stanton. Its cited purpose is to predict, prevent, stop, and punish genocide and other forms of mass murder by raising awareness, influencing public policy, and mobilising a global coalition dedicated to genocide prevention.

It has an all-volunteer staff of around 35 people. It operates as a fully virtual organisation rather than maintaining multiple physical offices. - Contributing to international advocacy efforts that supported the development of genocide-prevention mechanisms, accountability structures, and public awareness campaigns.

- Formally recognising and classifying various historical genocides, including the 1971 Bangladesh genocide, among others.
