1. Emma lived with her father in their home Hartfield in the English countryside near the village of Highbury her mother was dead. They were a rich family and she had a sister who was married.
2. Emma is a handsome, clever, and rich, with a comfortable home and a happy disposition. She failed with love and that’s why she didn’t want to get married. At the end she realized that she was in love with her friend George.
3. Miss Taylor lived with Mr Woodhouse family in sixteen years. Miss Taylor and Emma was more like sisters than like friends.
