57 min call. She called at 9:02pm tonight and I could tell that she was not the same kid as she was last weekend. i sent her mom an email over the weekend to start the discussion about summer based on what Logen and i discussed. the biggest issue being that cheer is in the last part of her summer and she also want to go to summer school which leaves only 1 week at the beginning that her mom already claimed and then 6 days before she starts school.
recently she told me that she didn't even care about summer school or court and that it was all coming from her mom last summer. we talked about online as an option and also about her doing an internship at my work instead of summer school. This weekend she mentioned that she did want to go to summer school but when i told her that it wasn't the same weeks as cheer she understood that it wouldn't work because i wouldn't have any time with her and she said that online summer school was an option for her.
fast forward a few days with her mom and Logen is really angry and her whole conversation has changed. she started out by telling me how i don't listen to her and am a bad dad and that she has already decided to go to summer school and if she had to choose between being at Alemany or with me she chooses Alemany. she said a ton more stuff, but it was abusive, disrespectful and dishonest based on earlier conversations I had with her. It felt like i was talking to someone else.
we got off the phone with things unresolved and she said she also had something going on on Saturday with cheer that was mandatory that created a conflict with plans we already had. i asked her to send me the information and she said she would.
