Grammar Translation Method (24 ene 1800 año – 24 dic 1900 año)
Descripción:
A method of teaching second or foreign languages by translating and studying grammar. It was a traditional way of teaching in Europe based on translating exercises from the new language to the native one and memorizing grammatical rules and vocabulary lists. It does not work student's communicative skills.
