February Revolution of 1917 (8 mar 1917 año – 16 mar 1917 año)

Descripción:

By 1917, most Russians had lost hope when it came to the leadership and the skills of the czarist regime. Government corruption was a reoccurring thing, the Russian economy was always backward and Czar Nicholas II kept on dissolving the Dumas, the Russian parliamentary groups made to settle the protesters after the Revolution of 1905, everytime they disobeyed the leaders. When the war broke out (WWII) Russia was horribly unprepared for the war. Resources were scarce, the war took all of the government’s money. Russia was not going to do too well in this war. Eventually, this ended with the large ration on bread, leaving people rioting and striking their jobs. It was kind of the last straw for them after having such a poorly run government.
