The Beer Hall Putsch was a failed attempt to take over the government in Bavaria, Germany. The Nazis, lead by Hitler, took people hostage in a Beer Hall to “secure his rise to power”. Their plan was foiled by the government and Hitler was charged with treason to his country and forced to serve a sentence is jail His supporters grew after he was let out of jail as they saw him as strong and resilient.
