31 ene 1857 año - Phonautograph

Descripción:

The phonautograph was invented in 1857. It was invented by a French man called Edouard-Leon Scott de Martinville. The phonautograph is a device that funnelled sound waves through a horn with a stylus at the end. The soundwaves appeared on a turning wax cylinder in the form of traced lines. In 2007, an American historian found the phonautograms that Edouard had patented. A year later, Scientists were able to play back the recording and Edouard’s rendition of “Au Clair de la Lune” in 1860 became the earliest known recording of a human voice.
