The Election of 1860 was for an American President to control the U.S.A. And the people running was a Republican Abraham Lincoln defeated Southern Democrat John C. Breckinridge, Democrat Stephen A. Douglas, and Constitutional Union candidate John Bell. And it ended up as Abraham Lincoln becoming President of the United States of America.
