7 h 41 m, 1 ene 1863 año - Emancipation Proclamation
Descripción:
The emancipation proclamation was a document declaring that on January 1st, 1863, all slaves being held in slave states “shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free.” This was announced by Abraham Lincoln shortly after the union victory at Antietam on September 22 of 1862. He thought this would be a good time to do this as the Union victory was almost assured at this time, it would also give souther states time to adopt to this.
