2 dic 1823 año - Monroe Doctrine
Descripción:
During a turbulent time of much colonization in the world, President Monroe addressed congress to talk about the America’s no longer being available for colonization. He also talked about the United States viewing any involvement by a European power as hostile and would act against them. The United States showed their cards by doing this and asserted that they wouldn’t be involved in any foreign countries taking over any part of the Americas and being an independent nation. This would be continued as the United States would be the dominant power over the America’s for the years to come.
