The League of nations was founded by US president Woodrow Wilson after WWI. Wilson had created 14 points he thought would be crucial to uphold the versailles treaty. These fourteen points were the basis for the league of nations , which was supposed to include all countries in the war instead only the allies joined to punish the axis powers. they also decided to ignore some of wilson's point but because the US did not join the league of nations he could not persuade them to do otherwise this led to higher tensions between german and the allies.
