Descripción:
The Confederates had their back to the Cumberland River, surrounded by Union Troops. With an attempt to break the Unions line they weren’t able to escape to safety and had more casualties than expected. This conflict is important because it brought the Union back into the War but also led to the U.S.S Monitor vs. C.S.S Virginia battle.
