Descripción:
Local authorities had to;
~ Ensure there was an adequate water supply, drainage and sewage disposal.
~ Nuisances were to be removed.
~Contaminated food was to be confiscated and destroyed
~cases of infectious diseases were to be reported to the local Medical Officer of Health who then had to take on appropriate action.
