Around 300,000 Chinese soldiers, in retaliation for the U.S approaching it's borders, are sent to attack the U.S and South Korea and push them back downward. They succeed, and the U.S must decide how much they are willing to scale up this war. Truman proposes a limited war that never turns to an assault on china and the use of atomic bombs. MacArthur does not agree to this, goes behind the president's back, and is fired when Truman finds out for insubordination. Ironically he comes home a war hero.
