The main advancement in the Boston Manufacturing Compnay was the modern factory system that was devised. This allowed for a more fully integrated and centralized manufacturing process that proved to be more efficient. The Power Loom was one of the many pieces of technology that advanced manufacturing and gave Boston an edge during this time. Many workers were also starting to perform factory work, which was also an integral part of American expansionism and Exchange. This increase in exchange was also a by-product of the previous 12-years war.
