1 ene 1857 año - Dred Scott case
Descripción:
Dred Scott was an African American who lived in a free state and returned to Missouri, which was a slave state. Scott argues that because he lived in a free state before going to Missouri, that he was entitled to the emancipation. The court found that no black could claim U.S. citizenship, and therefore blacks were unable to petition the court for their freedom.
