This toy consisted of a plastic potato that had various plastic parts that could be attached to create a unique character. Mr.Potato Head gained popularity every year until 1956, when it was one of the most desired toys of the decade.
Many parents bought Mr. Potato Head for their young children because it allowed them to be creative. The toy was mainly desired by children between the ages 5-8.
