9 mar 1774 año - Intolderable acts

Descripción:

Who: British targeted at Boston
What: Laws passed to directly target Boston after the Boston tea party.
Where: British passed to target Boston mostly
Why: This closed the Boston harbor and placed many restrictions on Boston such as on the town meetings and troop placement in the colonies. The colonies rallied to send food to Boston since they couldn't get food from through the harbor. The first continental congress met in Philadelphia in 1774 which showed 55 well-respected people from 12 out of the 13 colonies. They called for a complete boycott of British good and wanted the life they had before all the taxation. A British commander in the colonies eventually sent troops in 1775 to Lexington and Concord to seize stores and rebels but were met with prepared Americans and eventually lost.
