March 7, 1938: Hitler reoccupies the Rhineland with military forces
May 9, 1936: Italy annexes Ethiopia
July 18, 1936: The Spanish coup begins, Hitler sends troops to test them

September 30, 1938: Hitler gains the Sudetenland, Hitler promises not to invade any other land
October 15, 1938: The Sudetenland is taken over by Germany, approximately 3 million Germans lived there, many became Nazis
September 1, 1939: Germany invades Poland and gains control, they had a curfew, 8PM in the winter
September 3, 1939: Britain and France declare war on Germany, they have a pact with Poland.
September 4, 1939: Warsaw is the capital of Poland, Warsaw is bombed and it is taken over by Germany
September 5, 1939: The U.S declares neutrality in the war
September 10, 1939: Canada joins the war. Germany again tried to starve Britain by sinking and destroying any ships that tried to bring aid.
September 17, 1939: The Soviet Union invades Poland, a result of the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact. Poland is divided between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
September 21, 1939: Heydrich orders that German and Romanian Jews be transported to Poland by freight car into Ghettos.
September 23, 1939: The Nazis prohibit Jews from owning radio sets
September 27, 1939: Poland surrenders to Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
September 29, 1939: The Germans and Soviets divide up Poland, Germany has 2 million Jews and the Soviets have 1.3 million.
October 1939: The Nazis begin to euthanize those who are sick and disabled
October 12, 1939: Is appointed the leader of Poland after Germany takes over, he is in charge of getting rid of the Jews and rounding up all the Jews.
October 26, 1939: Polish Jews from 14-60 are forced to work
November 8, 1939: Hitler survives an assassination attempt with a bomb
November 23, 1939: They are required to wear armbands with the Star of David
November 9/10, 1938: The Kristallnacht is often referred to as the beginning of the Holocaust, many Jewish people were killed

March 15/16, 1939: Nazi troops take over Czechoslovakia.
April 30, 1939: Jews lose rights as tenants and are moved to Jewish homes.
May 1939: The St. Louis is turned away by many counties, filled with 930 Jewish refugees.
May 22, 1939: The Pact of Steel is signed, the Axis is formed
July 21, 1939: Adolf Eichmann is put in charge of the Prague Office of Jewish Emigration, one of the major organizers of the Holocaust
August 23, 1939: They sign the Molotov-Ribbentrop, the Non-Aggression Pact
August 25, 1939: Poland and Britain sign a Mutual Defense Alliance
August 31, 1939: Britain evacuates people from large towns and calls up reservists, readying for war
