King Philip II was one of Spains most powerful rulers. He brought a constant inflow of gold from the Americas to fund his army and nation. He was powerful enough to build the biggest fleet in history twice. Philip II ended up Bankrupting Spain 4 times because he made all of the decisions. Other than this Philip II was a great ruler for Spain.
