Alan Mathison Turing OBE FRS was an English computer scientist, mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst, philosopher and theoretical biologist. He was born on June 23, 1912 and died on June 7, 1954. He was born in Maida Vale and died in Wilmslow UK. Turing is widely considered to be the father of theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence.
