Yanek gets moved to the salt mine in Poland. It is his second camp, and all like the last one, but still more work. He got saved to be here, by his sneaky move at the last camp. On the second day at camp, he meets someone who seems familiar to him. It turned out that he was one of the policemen at Krakow, and that doesn't help the policeman one bit. That day, he got beat to death from some prisoners, and had salt rubbed in the cuts.
