Led by Godfrey of Bouillon, Raymond of Saint-Gilles, Bohemond of Taranto and Hugh of Vermandois; four large Christian armies left the Constantinople, on the way to the Holy Land. They returned thinking it to be a victory after they had captured Jerusalem and other Crusader states.
