Andrew Jackson was the 7th president of the United States and was part of the Democratic-Republican Party. One of the most important things he did was sign the Indian removal act. Some other important issues that happened while he was president was The Second Bank of the United States, the Tariff of 1828 and the Nullification Crisis.
