The French and Indian War (1 jan 1754 ano – 1 jan 1763 ano)

Britain declared war on France because they wanted control of the Ohio River Valley. Most American Indians in this area were on the French side because they traded but did not settle on the land. The British sent more soldiers in 1757 to North America which was a helping factor in the British victory. To end the war, France and Britain signed the Treaty of Paris in 1763.
