On June 25, 1950, the Koran War began when communist North Korea invaded South Korea. Responding to the warfare, US presented a resolution from the United Nations calling for the military reinforcement of South Korea against the North Korean invasion. As a result, new border was created between North and South Korea, giving South Korea some territory while demilitarized both nations.
