Marcy wakes up in the care of five men, Mathéo, Lucien, Ilyan, Arthur, and Timothée. They are all members of Harpoon, but they don't tell her this. Mathéo, the one who shot Marcy in the leg, reeled her from the water and brought her back to the house he shares with the other four members. Arthur, the one with healing knowledge, fixed her up.
She asks them what happened to her family, and they tell her that her entire family died at the hands of Harpoon. They manipulate her into believing that she has no choice but to live with them. So Marcy decides to remain while learning how to heal minor injuries from Arthur. She also develops a very close relationship with Mathéo.
