Meeting of the Big Three but with new members.

-Great Britain prime minister Churchill was replaced by Clement Attlee

-President FDR was replaced by President Henry Truman

Many key decisions were decided such as:

-Set a zone of control

-Recognized communist government in Poland

-USSR could claim reparations from their zone of control

But Truman and FDR had many different ideas of how to treat the Soviets

-FDR wanted USSR help vs. Japan

-Truman didn't want USSR help
-Especially after the successful testing of
the atomic bomb

-Truman wanted to get rough on Soviets
