This event is important to me as I was able to attend the school that I wanted to graduate from for high school. It made me proud and acknowledge that when you dedicate yourself to something like school, such as a did throughout elementary, that you’ll achieve success. When I applied to attend Lockerby I was worried that I wouldn’t be accepted but when I opened up the letter welcoming and congratulating on becoming a Viking, I felt that the hard work paid off.
