The Seneca Falls Convention was the first group meeting by feminists that launched the first women's rights movement in the United States.
Organized by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the Seneca Falls Convention fought for women suffrage and equality in the United States.
In the convention, Stanton wrote the Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions which expressed women's grievances from male patriarchy, asserting that women were equal to men.
