By the time I reach 20 years old, it is important that I understand the importance of self checking whether my breast are in proper condition. That said, self breast examinations can be done by using the pads of my fingers, moving around my entire breast in a circular pattern moving from the outside to the center, checking the entire breast and armpit area. It is necessary that I check both breasts each month feeling for any lump, thickening, or hardened knot. If I Notice any changes and get lumps, I should confide to a healthcare provider. This is important in detecting symtoms of breast cancer early.
