After meddling with the Sceptor (which contains the mind stone) and trying to figure out how to harness the AI in the stone, Tony and Bruce take a break from it to join a party Stark is throwing
During the party, the Avenegrs are interrupted by a not yet completed Iron Legion Armor Suit claiming to be Ultron.
Ultron swears for the death of the Avengers and Humanity, saying the only way to save humanity it to destroy it.
Ultron, being an AI program, escapes in one of Tony's Iron Legion robots, taking the sceptor with him.
Ultron goes to the now abandoned Sokovian HYDRA base, where he begins to build an army. Ultron gains the trust of the Maximoff twins, who seek revenge on Tony Stark after some of Stark's weaponry killed their parents.
