The first letters begin to roll in. Crystal is about to take them from the messenger, but Orion gets to them first. Furious with her about her disobedience, Orion takes the sack of letters and threatens to burn them in the fire. Crystal sees "Gabriella Conrad" on one of the letters, and she is immediately overwhelmed with feeling. Blossom gently tells Orion to stop when they see Crystal: standing there silently, shoulders shuddering, with fat tears streaming down her cheeks. They immediately embrace her as she begins to cry: her first tears since the day of the Great Battle.
