Uncle Tom's Cabin was written by Harriet Beecher Stowe. The book was wrote to show how bad the slaves were treated. After this book was published, it made an impact on how the northerners viewed slavery. The south did not like this book and the north wanted slavery to end even more. This book cause even more conflict between both sides.
