Hitler became chancellor of Germany in 1933. This worried the US because Hitler's form of government was different from the US', it was fascism. Fascism is a form of government that seeks power for their nation. Hitler also blamed their nations problems on "undesirables" after WWI, such as the Treaty of Versailles. This gave the US reason to enter the war because Hitler blamed the countries involved in WWI for some their problems. He also started to expand and gain back his army, tanks, weapons, etc. which the Treaty of Versailles previously took away giving Germany more power.
