My last year playing football was emotional to say the least. I was elected captain for the team, and I had to step up to be a leader to all of the new guys in the locker room. We went back to the playoffs once again and amassed a record of 5-5. I recorded 54 tackles and had 5 interceptions on defense. Also, I scored the game winning touchdown against Gate City which was my only touchdown of the season. After the season, I received honors as First Team All District Cornerback. I was the only Cornerback to receive this honor. Football was over, but the memories will last forever.
