9 dez 1497982 ano antes da era comum - TIME OF AUSTRALOPITHECUS
Descrição:
Their name means "Southern Ape." They are the first humans in the human evolution. Australopithecus started out as Apes, but they can't survive climbing. It took up too much of their energy, so that when they are in a situation with a predator, they won't have the energy to escape, so, they were the first humans to ever walk. When they went extinct, though, they still did not walk upright. Their hips were still bent forward. They had no stone tools and because of that, they had their brain as small as an orange. 3-4 ft tall. they also share many traits with chimps like same brain case, jaw alignment, shoulder blades and joints, arm length and hands. we also cherished something from our first species, spine connection, same pelvis, same thigh bones, and same feet.
