On this day we went over our discussion board posts about treating failure like a scientist. I believe that I contributed to the class discussion saying that my friend had recently experienced failure, but he didn't react to it negatively. Instead, he told me that it's important to fail in order to become revitalized. Sometimes. if we are becoming stagnant in the way that we think, it is important to fail so that progression can happen.
It was after this class that I started to understand the importance of divergent thinking. Divergent thinking is essentially the core of ESP 103, or at least the part that we have covered thus far. If one is able to synthesize their own creative idea and display it through a method that is divergent then they will likely succeed.
It was also in this class that we were told to get rejected and display what happened in a new format. That would stand as the fourth mini-project.
