As the Cold War came to an end through Eastern Europe. East Berlin’s Communist Party announced a change in his city’s relations with the West. That night they were allowed to go across the border, many citizens from each side came together and celebrated and began to break the wall with hammers and chisels. With the destruction of the wall, it brought the reunification of East and West Germany.
