1 jan 1913 ano - Niels Bohr
Descrição:
Niels Bohr proposed a theory that electrons move around the nucleus only in orbits a certain distance from the nucleus, with each distance, or level, having a certain amount of energy. When jumping from one orbit level to another with lower energy, a light wave is emitted. This went against the Rutherford model, because Bohr believed that if electrons moved sporadically, radiation would always be emitted from the atom.
