It was built by the Pharaoh Sneferu, the one who also built The Bent Pyramid. The Red Pyramid is the worlds first successful attempt at constructing a true smooth sided pyramid. At 104 meters tall it is the fourth tallest pyramid ever built in Egypt.Added to timeline:
