First starting in Florence and then spreading to Rome & Venice, this time period saw the "rediscovery" of the arts of Classical Antiquity, especially in the fields of architecture and sculpture. Sculpture art of the Renaissance was heavily influenced by a strong belief in Humanism and the nobility of Man, inspired by many individuals includig the great sculptor Donatello (1386-1466).Added to timeline:
