Description:

This period was seen as the highpoint of sculpture creativity from the Greeks. In the plastic arts, many famous sculpturs such as Polykleitos, Myron & Phidias had acheived such a level of realism not seen before. Later artists like Callimachus, Skopas, Lysippos, Praxiteles & Leochares would further develop this realism and would remain unmatched until the Italian Renaissance.
