Description:
35ish ADSaul was a Jew who thought he was serving God by persecuting Christians.
Saul was travelling to Damascus one day when he fell to the floor and a light shone down from heaven onto him.
He heard a voice say "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?" he asked and the answer came "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Get up and go into the city and you will be told what you are to do."
Saul was baptised, converted his name to Paul and began preaching the Word of God to all that he knew.
