Henri Dutrochet- discovered osmosis in 1826 (jan 1, 1826 – dec 1, 1826)

Description:

Henri was born in Neon, France.
He was a physiologist who discovered osmosis and named it and was the first to recognize why the green pigment with the use of carbon dioxide by plant cells was important.
Henri studied medicine before he served as a medical officer in Spain. He left the military and medicine and focused on scientific research. Dutrochet then focused his scientific research with the physiology of plants and animals.
