The Myinsaing Kingdom (jan 1, 1297 – jan 1, 1313)
Description:
The Myinsaing kingdom ruled Central Myanmar from 1297 to 1313. It successfully resisted the second Mongol invasions from the north. The kingdom was founded by three brothers and emerged following the fall of Bagan.
The kingdom divided into Pinya and Sagaing, after the death of the co-founders of the kingdom died. The reason of the decline of the kingdom was also similar to the one of Bagan: too much things and lands were donated to religion so the government cannot collect money on them, resulting the decline in taxes.
