Industialization in US 1870-1916 (jan 24, 1870 – apr 22, 1916)

Description:

Industrialization in the US started in the early 1800's. However, widespread industrialization didn't occur until after the civil war. Railroads were mass produced and placed so it was easier to travel and factories popped up everywhere. As a result, more people moved from farms and rural areas to urban cities. While industrial growth mainly occurred in the North as the South was recovering from the war, it still happened. Due to industrialization, the US became a world power in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
