Tabynsky uprising (jun 1, 1931 – jun 30, 1931)
Description:
Attempts to stop the migrations of the Kazakhs caused an armed uprising that engulfed the entire Tabynsky district, 60% of the farms of the Mangyshlak district, and several villages of the neighboring regions. The rebels tried to take Fort-Aleksandrovsk , defeated a number of village councils. According to the OGPU, 80 insurgent detachments with a total number of 3,192 people operate in Kazakhstan.
